![]() ![]() If you liked old Tenchu, or MGS, or Hitman but want it more dynamic Aragami 2 is pretty good. Victims of a supernatural affliction which corrodes the body and devours the mind, the Aragami control Shadow Essence - a mystical power which grants the ability to control the shadows. I know reviews have been a bit mixed (graphics arent great, online is dodgy at the mo, mission stats not correct etc), but some seem to be from people that may not really like the stealth genre. Aragami 2 - You are one of the last elite warriors of your kin, the Aragami. Even better if you could hold L1 and direction for a total of 8. On consoles the d-pad is not used for anything, so being able to assign 4 abilities to those would be great. You can also double-jump, dash, and warp to ledges so you're an extremely nimble ninja. ![]() ![]() The most common cause of being spotted for me is pulling up the wheel, selecting an ability and activating the wrong one (eg: trying to quick fire a mesmerise and doing a whisper), as it's just a bit too imprecise when done quickly (or i'm bad and should feel bad). Aragami 2 's core gameplay is incredibly intuitive as you sneak around while tapping a button to take down unsuspecting enemies. In exchanging the linear narrative-driven stealth experience for an open-ended co-op mission adventure, Lince Works has created a game that feels just as flawed as the original, but has a lot more charm in its small moments and simplicity. My biggest suggestion would be to assign abilities to buttons. Aragami 2 is a huge departure from the original game. But the stamina and abilities as is is fine too, just less interesting. Dunno if this could be a in-game mod or patched in as an option, but it would make balance tricky - as currently every ability has it's own cooldown etc. The shadow energy-system from the first game was more interesting IMO, where you lost ability energy in the light and gained it in the dark. The new patch notes should be good to fix annoyances. Just got the platinum and level 30 last night, so at the point of trying out things and S ranking every mission.
